SATURDAY: Airport to Cancun

My sweet parents wanted us to go on vacation with them, and after telling them that we wouldn't be able to afford it, they offered to pay for the trip. How could we refuse. All except Reecy. (sorry honey) Our flight was at 1:00 a.m. we actually left at 10:30 p.m. Friday night. The kids were very excited to go to the airport, and ride in an airplane. I was not as excited. We were sad to leave our daddy behind, but we said our goodbye's in hope that we wouldn't miss him too much. (Thanks for working so hard for us Reece)

So here are the kids at the Las Vegas airport.

They didn't really sleep the first leg of the flight. There was a 3 hour lay over in Houston where we met up with my aunt Missy who also went with us. The kids were a little more tired now, and actually got a little shut eye. I did not .

Upon arriving in Mexico (my first time out of the country) It was overcast, infact raining a little, but still warm (muggy). We took a shuttle to the rental car, and we were off. We were all a little tired but thought it would be best not to nap. So...we went to costco to buy food, drinks, and chocolate. After we dropped all the food at the room. We went off to find a good place to eat, and my dad had just the place in mind. He didn't know the name, just remembered where it was and what it looked like. It ended up being called Carlos and Charlies. The food was good but a little pricy for my liking. He didn't mind so it was nice.


After dinner we drove around a little and then back to the room for a little R&R. It was still overcast so no swimming. We all crashed early, and that was the end of a long day.
