Valentines Day

I just got these pictures off Sara's camera, so I'm going to post them a few months late.

This is the crew!
Reece and I, of course. Donny, Sara, Tawnya, and Tua.

We all decided to go to Tucano's, it was yum! We ate too much, and laughed too much, but we sure had a good time.

Happy Valentines day everyone.

The kick is up and it's good!

Max lost his 2nd tooth, May 15th 2010.
Causing the appearance of field goal posts :)

Now Max looks even cuter with a big ole' gap on the bottom row. I'm so glad he is not a big wuss like his mommy. He pulled this one out all by himself on the way to the store. Good job max.
By the way as far as the tooth fairy, Max got 1 whole dollar on his first tooth, and was expecting the same on the second. Max was being a little naughty so I told him not to be surprised if the tooth fairy didn't bring him anything. Day after Max tells me "I was even naughty, and I still got .80 cents." Smarty pants son of mine. Gotta love him.

Cowboy up

Yee-haw!!!
So I thought this weekend was a waste! I could not remember a single productive thing we had done. Then I looked at these pictures and remembered that we had fun playing outside. I guess I only got a few pictures of Joseph, cause he was so dang cute in Isabel's cowgirl hat.

Mothers day

Mother dear I love you so!

I was blessed to be able to spend the weekend with my beautiful mother, whom I absolutely adore. By the looks of the pictures below... so does Jo-Jo.

The kids even got to go for a swim. (well a few swims)

While visiting New Harmony, we were able to visit with my aunt Melissa. It's always fun to see and catch up with her. Missy was there helping with wedding preparations (mostly sewing lots of things. In fact, she's still at my moms house today, sewing.)

I was sad not to be with Reece this weekend, he was on call for work and could not come. He was sweet and made a treasure hunt for me for mother's day. It was tough, but I finally found my gifts. I got a cool book called "THE REMARKABLE SOUL of a WOMAN" by Elder Uchtdorf. I also received an addition to my willow tree collection. I wasn't crazy about the one he picked out (bless his heart) so we went yesterday and got the one I wanted. Now it's complete.

What a sweet husband! Love you Maurice!!

R.A.D. graduation

R.A.D. is a program that they teach at school. (probably during P.E. time) It stands for Resist Aggression Defensively. Basically they teach the kids how to defend themselves in an attack, and how to get out of dangerous situations. Max was excited to do his graduation so I decided to document it.

Here's the warm up:
Getting suited up to "escape"
simulation:

I brought Isabel and Joe, and they loved watching Max. (Joe thumb-sucking as usual)
Good job Max!

Roller skating extravaganza

(2nd song on play list is meant for this post.)

The kiddo's decided that they would like to try roller skating. Pretty funny!

We'll definitely need to invest in some knee and wrist pads!

Tooth fairy???

April 27th 2010
bottom right tooth ... M.I.A..

This boy, is adorable even with a tooth missing. Max came home from school with his tooth in an envelope. I asked him if it came out while he was eating, and he replied..."no mom, I twisted it and then yanked it!" Quite different then when I was loosing teeth. I was a wimp about the whole thing. Good job tough guy. He wanted to put it under his pillow, and try his luck. I told him that I wasn't sure if the tooth fairy would come all the way to our house for such a little tooth. He had faith, and put it under anyway. Love you Max!
