Blackwell Family: January 2013

This Christmas break started out with drinking hot cocoa while watching a movie.

We did lot's of playing outside in the snow.

We also slept in and snuggled almost every day

We even got to sleep in on Christmas morning. I woke up at to see what time it was (thinking I had woken up super early) and it was already 7:30. I couldn't believe that my little angels were still in bed. I kind of wanted to get my camera out and go wake them up, but I didn't. I just stayed in my warm bed, and relaxed. When the children finally came up stairs (around 8:15) they were ecstatic!

Jo-Jo made us a little note at school

We had a very nice relaxing morning. I looked at the weather and decided that it would be best if we left for New Harmony right away. We had planned on leaving the next day. So glad we left when we did because we got hit pretty hard with a crazy snow storm. I made it safely to my parents, and we had lots of fun.

After all the presents were open, and the kids were all bored we decided to take advantage of the snow again.

And of course we had to take a sled break to feed the cows and chickens

After playing in the snow, Pops and Grams made a fire while the kids played with the neighbors bunnies.

Later that night we had more fun frosting some cookies

Fun, fun, fun!

It was so nice to visit my family, and spend some quality time with them! We love when we have no worries or cares and can just play the day away!

Thanks again Dad and Mom for taking time out of your busy lives to play with us! Also a big thank you to Daddy who couldn't join us because he had to work. We love and appreciate all your hard work, so that we are able to make memories by going and doing fun things. Thank you Maurice!
