Trying to get back on track

First of all...yes it has been for ever. Second, this will not be a complete update because I don't have the patience (funny that's what the lesson was today in R.S..) Finally, I don't remember everything. My only advice is "you take what you get and don't throw a fit."

First of all Max wanted a hair cut. I obliged.

"foe-hawk?"

Pretty much every week has been the same this summer. Basketball with mom in the morning, lunches in the afternoon. Tuesday is Movie day, and we usually get home by 12:30-ish every day to put Joe down for a nap. Seven Peaks water park in the afternoon, followed by a late dinner (or the creamery), and then bed. Every now and then our schedule will change, but why change something that works so well for all of us???

Last weekend we (the kids and I) went to My parents house for Fort Harmony Days and Fathers Day. Fun, but the kids missed their dad, and the Dad missed the kids. :( While at the folks, we got in some swimming, 4-wheeling, and animal petting. Always a good time.

Isabel, Lauric, and Joe. They all "needed," a helmet.

So while in New Harm, we left Max with my parents so he could fly out to Calif. with my Dad. The brave Grandmama Blackwell decided to torture herself with 7 boys all between the ages of 7 and 11. So he flew out with papa last Tuesday, and he will fly home tomorrow. I'm sure there will be a few pictures to post once I get them from the source. It's been a little heartbreaking for me not to have my boy here, but he's assured me that he is having a blast!

Upon returning home from our long weekend away from home we were pleased to get to spend a day with some long time friends from the good ole Provo days. Rodney and Monica Snook were some good friends of ours when we lived in Provo. Unfortunately they moved away, and so did we. We kept in touch, and get to see each other about every 4 years. It was a lot of fun catching up.

Saturday was Cassius' birthday and we got to go over to the Toiaivaos for some lots of fun! We learned a new game, and stayed way too late. Oh well, here goes Summer of fun #3.

Sunday was just a chill day. Isabel was taking pictures, here they are
