Halloween fun

I decided to do Snow white theme this year. Isabel already had a Snow White dress made by her grandma, and I already had the evil queen. I had a brilliant Idea for Reece, and my mom helped me again by making Max's prince charming, and Joe's dwarf costume. I loved the way it turned out!
Here's all of us
We attended our ward Halloween party on Friday night. We ate lots of yummy chilli, and got to do some trick or treating around to some different rooms. There was also a costume contest, and... WE WON. YAY!
At the end of the night all Jo-Jo wanted to do was eat all his candy.
I love Halloween, and being so wicked already, I really loved playing the part of my costume this year.
BOO!

October snow

Max had to go to school, but these two had no worries in the world. They jumped right in. So much fun!

Ragnar

One of my friends from basketball asked me if I would like to run in a Ragnar with them. They had just done one and so I decided it might be fun. The race was in for Vegas so I decided I was in! The race Started in Overton NV, and ended at the RedRock casino in Las Vegas. 195 miles in 2 days, what's not to love? Each team gets 12 people, some are mixed, some are all men, but we had all women. 2 vehicles, van 1 and van 2. We each have 3 legs, ran 1-12 and then start again. My legs totaled 14.5 mi. Not too bad right? Well, after my 2nd leg, my knees and feet were about to quit. My 3rd leg felt really "hard," I guess I just dug in and "pushed it out." Thanks to all the support from my team!
This is our (van 2's) transport vehicle. Our team name was: 2Legit 2Quit.

This is our team captian
and just like the french toast, she's "perfect!"

This shot was taken while one of the girls (Lisa) was running her leg
Cami, Marnie, Julie, Aubrey, and Me.
This was one of the upscale restrooms provided for our convenience along the way.

And here I am running one of my legs, I was smokin'!
Oh wait that's not me, here I am

At the end of the race there were medals, and pictures. We got a free room at the RedRock resort and casino. It was so nice, and we were all so ready to crash. Before we fell asleep, we went out to eat in our grubby smelly clothes, we were so hungry! Then we went home, showered and crashed. We slept for like 10 hours, and before we left we got one last photo by the pool.
(Aubrey was in charge of some cute little awards at the hotel, and I won the "most supportive." That's why I'm wearing my award in the photo. I loved it, and it matched my collar!)

Woohoo!!!!! We're done!

Hobble Creek photos

We took a drive up to H.C. canyon yesterday to try to get a new family photo. I don't know about a family photo, but we did get a lot of cute pic.'s. While we were taking pictures it started raining leaves. If you click on this first picture you can kind of see it. It was pretty cool.
Isabel was loving the leaves falling all around her
Love Jojo's laugh
Daddy, and Joe
Tiny Joe. He was so cold he didn't want to move.
My little darlings.
These are just a few. We had a fun time taking lots of pictures. My only disappointment is that we'll probably have to take some more to get that perfect family shot. Next time.

U.E.A. hike

U.E.A. is some kind of fall break. Not sure what it's for, but rumor has it that it's so people can go hunting or something. My friend Michelle said it stands for Utahans Exodus to Anaheim, I like that but I didn't get the memo, so maybe next year for "fall break" we'll go to "Anaheim."
Anyway, a few of us from the ward decided to take the kids for a hike. Battle creek Falls. It was a lot of up hill but it was fun. Kids had a blast!
Here they are climbing rocks in the parking area
And we're off
My sweet lil Izzy
K.T. (nice face, haha)
Lunch
Pretty views

This picture was taken at the top of the waterfall looking down. Max, and Tyler were so far ahead I just waited, and took a picture of them. And after taking these pictures I realized how stupid I was to get so close to the edge, I had vivid "daymares" of what would've happened if I were to slip. Not a fun thing to think about. I'll not ever get that close to an edge again.
Here's Max at the base in front of the falls
Here's me and Joe. I packed him all the way up, and all the way back. My pants just about fell off because of where the pack rests on my hips. Haha, and look at my face, I was tryin' to ask Isabel if she got both of us, and the waterfall. Nice picture.
On the way down I had to take this picture, and think: "Hurry up turd!"
One more picture kids
What a fun time. Thanks to the ladies who made it possible.

My sick babies

I came home from church today, and found these angels asleep in various places. They are all a little under the weather, and so they stayed home with their daddy.

Who's kid falls asleep under the kitchen table?

The never ending craft

I saw this on the Disney family website so I thought it would be fun for the kids. This was about 2 weeks ago. I started to collect items to complete this craft little by little. Isabel discovered the bag with the pillow cases, and asked "what are these for?" I made the mistake of telling her, and so they've been asking every day if we can make the ghosts. We planned to make them Monday night for family night. When I got the pillow cases out, I decided that they themselves would need to be altered for our chairs. So that was done Monday night. Tuesday night we wanted to cut out all the parts, but ended up not having enough time in the day. So...tonight was the night! We almost didn't make it. 8:18 p.m. the last bat was glued on, and we had just enough time left before bed to share a bowl of ice cream :) These kids are simply the best!

Start your engines
I hate cutting felt after this
Joe was so funny. He of course wanted to help, but there was really nothing he could do. I decided to let him cut some scrap pieces of felt, and he was in heaven
He was cracking up
Alright lets put these things together
Now for the display
ta-dah! Here they are
Cute huh?
Well another project completed with me not loosing my mind, or going crazy. YAY! This kind of thing is not really "My" kind of thing. I'm glad I learned how to cut and paste in school so we could make these cute chair covers.
