B.Y.U. game

Well we went to the great Las Vegas bowl game. Last minute some of our good friends asked us if we would like to go. We couldn't pass up free tickets, so we said what the heck...sure. The teams were U of Arizona, and of course B.Y.U. . We knew it would be cold, so we all put on about 4 layers of clothing, and headed off to the stadium. It was not so bad at first, but as the night went on, the temperature kept dropping. The children did better then I thought they would, and Joseph was a very good boy. It's sad to say that B.Y.U. played terrible, and eventually lost the game. We left somewhere in the beginning of the 4th quarter. The kids said they had fun, and Reece and I enjoyed being able to go (for free :D) We took a few pictures to capture the moment.

Looking a little tired and cold here, but we made it to the 4th, so I'm happy. Even though B.Y.U. lost, we'll still remain faithful. "Go B.Y.U.!!!"

Just wanted to post a few pictures from my visit with my parents this past weekend. My dad had an outpatient surgery, (he's fine) and so I thought it would be nice to go and help my mom take care of him. While in New Harmony, it snowed for 3 days straight. They must've got about 2 feet of snow, it was amazing.

We also got to make ginger bread houses. The kids really enjoyed this!





We had so much fun with Grandma and Papa. Can't wait to do it again after Christmas. Hope they get some more snow.

Have you ever seen a palm tree, with snow on it???

Well here it is:Here's another picture after 4 hours of non-stop snow. So fun.

We just got home from a visit with my parents in New Harmony. We left there to escape 2 feet of snow. Only to return today, and find ourselves surrounded. CRAZY! Here are my little monkey's. Max, and Bell love to eat snow.

Well we've taken our annual trip to see the big man in red. I kind of broke the rules and took my own pictures. I really love my children they are always so patient while I take my billion pictures. So here they are:

The Graduate.

Here's my handsome husband. Doesn't he look good in cap and gown? Well December 7, 2008 marked the end of a long journey. Reece started college way back in 1996. He attended C.S.U.H. for one semester before heading off to B.Y.U. Reece took a break in 1998. Actually a 2 year break. (haha, I wonder what he was doing???) He started back up in August of 2000. (right after marrying the wicked witch of the west). Reece attended full and part time at B.Y.U. until his graduation in 2005.
As you can see in the picture (2 kids and wife in hand) Reece was a very busy man but still managed to do the job. (and I should add, he did, and still does the job very well.) As Reece was deciding what to do next, he started to research P.A. school. I had never heard of it before, but after hearing it was less time in school (then M.D.) I was on board. Reece had several interviews, and after some thought he decided to take us to Henderson Nevada. Reece started Touro University Nevada in June of 2006. Now 12 years after starting, 1 wife, 3 kids, a bachelor from B.Y.U., and a masters from Touro, Reece is DONE!!! We're so proud of him and all his hard work.

After the ceremony we had some yummy treats (provided by the school, I know shocking), and we took some pictures while chatting.

Reece was blessed to be able to enjoy the presence of his parents, and sis. Julie. My parents were also in attendance.







After the Ceremony, we went home and we got wasted...ok, ok, ok .... not really but we had dinner with our family and a few close friends.

Family time

Just returned from a trip to N.H. where we had plenty of good food, good company, and down right good times. We started out Thanksgiving day drove up to Mavis' house for an awesome Turkey dinner. We ate lots of food, and then up to Dad and Mom's house for more fun. I guess Sat. my mom had her own Thanksgiving dinner, we got more Turkey, and even better more dips. Yum.
Isabel found this little turkey costume in the dress-up box at my Parents. She put it on and looked so cute. Everyone told her how cute she was, and so she decided to keep it on all night.Here's Maximus...he was hungry for some turkey.
Let's see... Sunday my Dad and sister Sharley sang at church "Jesus was no ordinary man," and it was beautiful. I was proud of my dad for stepping out of his comfort zone, and trying something new. They sounded wonderful, and added to the spirit of the meeting.
After Church we saddled down for some family pictures. None of which I am very happy with, but oh well. Here's just a few:

Here's my favorite picture:Yesterday (Monday) Me and Sharley and the kids got to go help Grandma and Papa pick out the perfect tree. It was fun, and we found a very nice tree for them. Last night we (rather I) put the lights on the tree,
Joseph was my little helper with the lights. Lot of help he was :)
and then this morning we helped put all the ornaments on.
Look at that intense face...she was doing the tongue thing that mom does,... crazy huh?

(my parents have like a billion and one ornaments.) The kids had a blast! I had fun too.

After the tree was all pretty, we went on a rock expedition. We all jumped on a quad, and took off for some rocks.

Here's the gang on the quads, oh and my dad got a new toy, the "Rhino." Look at that guy, still on his cell phone in the middle of no where..."can you hear me now?"The rocks that my parents are collecting for their home-made river bed are beautiful, and the best part is that they are unique. It will be quite a sight to see when finished.

I had a great time this past weekend in N.H. with the fam. I know that they love me and my family so much. I feel blessed to have such amazing parents who sacrifice so much to spend quality time with us, and make sure we're taken care of.
