So Friday Nov. 7th we got on a Southwest airplane, and took off. (thank you Heather W. for taking us so early in the morning) Here's a pic. of us on our way.
Even at 6:30 in the morning this guy is all smiles. Joseph had his own seat because the flight we took out only had 19 people on it. Pretty empty.
This shot was taken outside the Oakland airport as we awaited the arrival of the "big red van."
While in Hayward we had the opportunity to visit with Reece's Grandma. "Great Grandma Alires." Great Grandma was not feeling very well while we were there, so the kids gave her lots of hugs and kisses to make it all better. 
We got to spend a lot of time with Grandmama', and papa Joe. Here are the kids playing grandmama's piano.

Little Jo-Jo just loves Grandma and Grandpa Blackwell. The only thing I'll say is that he's become quite the momma's boy. It seemed that if I was out of sight he didn't care but the second I stepped in the room he would start to whimper. Makes me feel loved, and needed, but kind of irritating. (He just wants me for the goods ;D )
Our trip to Calif. was great, and we are especially thankful to the Blackwell's for letting us borrow their car the whole week. Also the Nava's, thanks for inviting us to stay at your house. We got to stay in Rudy's room, it was really great!
Thanks Holly, and Mom and Dad B. for everything!After a short 6 days our time came to an end. Before we knew it we were back on a plane to Las Vegas. Here's Reece and the kids.
I hope that we can visit more often then once a year. It is so fun when the kids get to play with their cousins. It's also fun for adults to reminisce with family about old times, while at the same time making new memories. Good bye California, hope to visit again soon!

yep, i'm jealous again...california, my home away from home. the good thing i can say about colorado is the shines here as much as in cali!
