The Cruise

So, the cruise my parents got for us happened mid February.
We got to Calif. on Sunday for a Monday departure. We drove with my parents and met Sharley and Jonah and family in L.A.
We had some fun before boarding the ship on Monday

But before long, we were getting our safety briefing;
it was intense

Here we go!
Bring on the food

Cool room set up, but no window

Our first stop was Catalina island

We had fun exploring the island

But the real fun started when we got back to the ship and discovered the Hamburger station.
Burgers for days

It was this dude's birthday, and he was in heaven!

After eating burgers we weren't very hungry, but it was formal dining night so we got all fancied up and went to dinner.
We had to wait a little while to be seated all together, so we played games.

 Cute girls
 Handsome boys

This one had too much fun, fell asleep right at the table
 Happy birthday my Jo-Jo

Loved the sunsets and rises on the boat

 This is Ensenada

We went to a cool zip lining place called Las Canadas.
They had really great zip-lines and suspension bridges for the whole family to enjoy.
I don't have any pictures of the zip-lines, but we also went horseback riding and that was also amazing. COLD, but amazing.

Getting back on the boat

The girls in this family are really aspiring singers. They all take after Auntie Sharley and love Karaoke.

The next day we were at sea and I was under the weather so I don't have pictures. The kids enjoyed lots of different fun activities, including steak for breakfast and ice sculptures.
What a wonderful adventure!!!
Thanks Mom and Dad.

This is pretty much how all of us felt on the way home:

We were going to stop at Universal for Joe's bday because we were right there, but we all voted and decided to head back to avoid being over tired for work and school on Monday.
