Minature Polar Express

I forgot to post about this cool thing we did out in Lindon.  One of my friends I play ball with has this train ride they do out in her neighborhood.  She was kind enough to invite us to participate.  It was really fun!

After a short train ride we stopped at the north pole
 Met some cute elves

Got back on the train, and had a refreshing ride filled with pictures of the Saviors life on earth

Kids also got to write to some missionaries that are serving.

 That was awesome!  Thanks Candice.

A Christmas Carol by Mrs. Hill's 4th grade class

Max's 4th grade class had fun this year practicing and performing Disney's "A Christmas Carol."  Max played the part of the Ghost of Christmas future.  Check it out

Here's Max's part.  Which by the way, he thought it was amazing that he got to be the grim reaper. Go figure.

Good job Dude!

At the end of the play the whole class sang accompanied by some of the girls in their class.
Awesome!

The primary Nativity

Our ward Christmas party is always fun.  Food, music, Santa, the whole 9 yards.  Kids had a good time, and Joseph was a pretty cute sheep if you ask me.
Here's Joe and a few of his other sheep friends

Here you can see Max in the brown cloak as Joseph, Isabel is behind Mary, she was an angel (as is she always), and Joe is front and center.

Here's one of their songs (one of my favorite in fact)

After the program the kids got to sit with Santa for a moment
Wonderful evening!

Grandpa's work party

Last weekend my dad drove up for his work's Christmas party.  He was kind enough to stop by and bring us with him.
The kids were in heaven, and I have to admit, I had an amazing time as well.  We got to bowl, eat, and even get our faces painted.

Pops even got to stay for our Ward Christmas party to see the kids in the Nativity.  Thank you Papa for letting us have all that fun with you.  We love you!!!

Thanksgiving recap

Kind of forgot to post about Thanksgiving.
We went down to New Harmony to spend a few days with family.
Thanksgiving day we spent at my Uncle Stevens house with his family and ours.  It was wonderful food and lots of fun.  This is my Uncle Steven cutting the Turkey:
 This is the Turkey:

Friday we went up into the mountains to get a Christmas Tree.  This is Mavis and Stan's van hauling home 2 trees.  It was the funniest thing.
We got to spend some time with cousins watching Arthur Christmas.  Super cute movie!
Looks like we had a pretty good time, considering Max slept the whole way home.

We love spending time with family, makes the holiday's that much more enjoyable!

Isabel's program

Isabel had a wonderful little program today.  Just wanted to post a little video.

Love you beautiful girl!

Halloween

Every year I like to try and do a theme for Halloween.  This year we found Max and Isabel's old costumes (and mine) that helped us decide on a Beauty and the Beast theme.  Max was Gaston, which turned out amazing. Izzy was Bell of course (Thanks to some assistance from my Mom and Aunt Missy), and JoJo was our little beast.  It was fun, and the kids really enjoyed dressing, and acting their parts :)

Reece did not participate in our theme, unless I missed something in the movie???

This boy told me he wants to dye his hair black with blonde highlights.  So silly, but he is a handsome boy!

Halloween is always a fun time to get out and have some fun.  We def. had lots of fun, but I'm kinda glad it's all over for another year.

Reece's birthday

OK, so I get the worst wife of the year award because I had absolutely nothing planned for Maurice's birthday.  Luckily a few days before, my dad called and asked if we wanted free tickets to Lagoon.  We had never been before and so I was hesitant, but you can't turn down free tickets.  My parents came up with my Aunt Missy and we all went to Lagoon for Reece's birthday.  It was really fun.  They had a halloween thing going on, and so that made it extra cool.  Although Isabel did not think that any of the zombies were fun at all.  Sorry Izzy!  I'll just post a few pictures
Isabel and Joe had their faces painted thanks to papa

there was a cute little maze with some picture opps.

The little kids land was awesome, and not many long lines, so Joe was in heaven!

Thank you for the free tickets, and the wonderful time!  Oh yeah, Happy Birthday Reece :)

Wicked

Back in October, the 6th to be exact I drove to Las Vegas with my sisters.  We were given one of the coolest birthday presents ever.  My Mom and Dad bought us tickets to go see the show Wicked.  It was amazing.

It was fun to go with my sisters, and at the end of the day we went to cheesecake factory.  Couldn't have asked for a better day.  Thanks Mom and Dad, (and Mavis for suggesting it :)
