Hobble Creek photos
We took a drive up to H.C. canyon yesterday to try to get a new family photo. I don't know about a family photo, but we did get a lot of cute pic.'s. While we were taking pictures it started raining leaves. If you click on this first picture you can kind of see it. It was pretty cool.

These are just a few. We had a fun time taking lots of pictures. My only disappointment is that we'll probably have to take some more to get that perfect family shot. Next time.
U.E.A. hike
U.E.A. is some kind of fall break. Not sure what it's for, but rumor has it that it's so people can go hunting or something. My friend Michelle said it stands for Utahans Exodus to Anaheim, I like that but I didn't get the memo, so maybe next year for "fall break" we'll go to "Anaheim."
Anyway, a few of us from the ward decided to take the kids for a hike. Battle creek Falls. It was a lot of up hill but it was fun. Kids had a blast!

Here's me and Joe. I packed him all the way up, and all the way back. My pants just about fell off because of where the pack rests on my hips. Haha, and look at my face, I was tryin' to ask Isabel if she got both of us, and the waterfall. Nice picture.

Here they are climbing rocks in the parking area
This picture was taken at the top of the waterfall looking down. Max, and Tyler were so far ahead I just waited, and took a picture of them. And after taking these pictures I realized how stupid I was to get so close to the edge, I had vivid "daymares" of what would've happened if I were to slip. Not a fun thing to think about. I'll not ever get that close to an edge again.

My sick babies
I came home from church today, and found these angels asleep in various places. They are all a little under the weather, and so they stayed home with their daddy.

The never ending craft
I saw this on the Disney family website so I thought it would be fun for the kids. This was about 2 weeks ago. I started to collect items to complete this craft little by little. Isabel discovered the bag with the pillow cases, and asked "what are these for?" I made the mistake of telling her, and so they've been asking every day if we can make the ghosts. We planned to make them Monday night for family night. When I got the pillow cases out, I decided that they themselves would need to be altered for our chairs. So that was done Monday night. Tuesday night we wanted to cut out all the parts, but ended up not having enough time in the day. So...tonight was the night! We almost didn't make it. 8:18 p.m. the last bat was glued on, and we had just enough time left before bed to share a bowl of ice cream :) These kids are simply the best!
Start your engines
Well another project completed with me not loosing my mind, or going crazy. YAY! This kind of thing is not really "My" kind of thing. I'm glad I learned how to cut and paste in school so we could make these cute chair covers.

More birthday fun
The weekend after my birthday, we went down to my parents house for swimming, visiting, relaxing, and just plain fun. Sharley and Johah were in town for her birthday, and Mavis came up to celebrate too. Lots of fun!
Here's my "special cake. It's white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. All the way from the cheesecake factory in Las Vegas. Yum! Thank you Dad and Mom!

The pool was up past 90 all weekend, and the weather was beautiful! We couldn't help but enjoy ourselves.

What a great weekend! Max and Reece were busy loosing football games. They didn't join us until Saturday night. I really don't like birthday's but this year was semi-tolerable. Thanks to all.
Oh yeah, lets not get in the car to leave until we've all piled onto one quad, and rode around the loop. Thank you for that last little bit of fun before our long drive home.
Here's Sharley and Maley blowing out all the candles

Good bye New Harmony, we'll see you again soon.
Service in Zions
I don't know how, but it seems like my mom has convinced us all to do a little service project in the canyon behind her house. Kolob Canyon to be exact. The group we were a part of got to dig holes for a fence to go around a new found grave site. I didn't get a picture of the graves, they looked like a pile of rocks, side by side. It was a good time. I always love working with my dad.

This is a picture of us adults with the rangers who were in charge of our group. Good times!
This is the pole we had to dig out because it wasn't placed properly. Boo!
We got to hike up the river bed a little bit to the place where the water falls into it. Kinda cool.
