When we started this adventure it was calling for rain each day. When we actually set out on the trail... it was hailing!
We went anyway.
The rain let up after about an hour of hiking, and we were at liberty to completely enjoy the vibrant colors that emerge after a fresh rain.
The grandeur of these rocks are indescribable.
We would stop to look to the tops, and never find them, while the echos and acoustics of the natural amphitheater's were fantastic.

The views from my back were incredible!
(Or maybe I only thought they were, because I finally got to take my pack off.)
My camera broke mid trip, so I don't have a ton of pictures, but I loved this trip for the hidden beauties.
