Thanksgiving in December

This last weekend we traveled down to New Harmony.  We spent the weekend searching for a Christmas tree, eating another Thanksgiving dinner, and spending quality time with my parents and my two lovely sisters and their families.

We left early Saturday morning and went straight to the mountains in search of the perfect Christmas tree.  First we had to let the kids out to play in the snow.  There was about two feet of beautiful powder, it was awesome.

Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of the actual tree hunt, or the tree for that matter.  You'll have to come for a visit to see the beautiful half tree.

I say half tree because it's awesome from one side and completely barren on the other side, so we put it in the corner and you can't even tell. :)

When we arrived home, my mom had a wonderful Turkey dinner cooking in the oven.  We helped ourselves to some pre dinner snacks, and then got right to work on the bird.

After dinner, the granchildren all got to open a pre Christmas present.

Grams and Pops wanted a little help decorating their tree, so the kids got to work before leaving for church.  Only like 3 broken ornaments during the process
