1st: Baptism by emmersion

March 26 2011. What a special morning. Our first born child made a very important decision. He decided to be baptised. Maximus has been very excited to become a "member" of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was baptised by his father and a good majority of his extended family, and a large number of friends were in attendance.

We arrived a bit early to the church where they filled the font. Max was a little nervous that the water would be cold. Lucky for him it was nice and toasty warm.

We are greatful that the Lord has restored the priesthood to the earth, so that this saving ordinance could be preformed. We are also thankful that our dad is worthy to hold that priesthood so he can bless our lives.

Big smiles before and after.

Here is a picture of our happy family (minus Stan). We were all together with Ralph Keller. Ralph and his late wife Betty, served a mission in Oakland where we were their only baptism. How thankful we are to now share a forever family! I am grateful for the sacrifices that were made for so many to be with us on Max's special day. Max will remember this day forever, and thanks to the spirit that was present, along with so many friends and family, I know it will be an amazing memory!
