Bowling with the Browns plus gingerbread houses (December 2015)

My sweet sister and her family were in town for her husband's work party. They were so kind and invited us to go with them. We had a blast!

That night, (or maybe it was the next day???) we made gingerbread houses.

Here are the finished products...
Notice the chocolate kit-kat house!
It was delicious!!!

After the Browns went home, we ate the houses ;)

What a fun time we had while the Browns were here!

Gingerbread festival (December 2015)

A tradition that was introduced to us by a good friend.
Midway, Gingerbread houses.

Here were a few of the gingerbread men...

A fun tradition that will always bring a smile to our hearts!

Oh Christmas Tree (December 2015)

We went to Costco to get a tree because we didn't get home from California early enough to go tree hunting with the Wises.
Turns out we got a pretty decent tree! The kids had fun putting on the ornaments.

Here's an ornament I made in kindergarten.
Kinda fun memory!

I love when these kids help me smile!

Disneyland for Thanksgiving November 24th and 25th

We were so excited to go to Disneyland with my family, and we had such a good time. It's only too bad that half of the world was also excited to go, and joined us.

First we headed to California adventure for the day...
The tram from the parking garage was our first ride.

Of course we took pictures with Santa

First real ride...

This little girl loves her cousin!

And sometimes this little boy stops for a few seconds.

Cars ride with these crazies...

Also ran into this hottie at the end of our day. Isabel and Brynne got to go on a few rides together.

Day 2... Disneyland
Of course the first thing we did was eat GINORMOUS turkey legs.

And we had to try to pull the sword out of the stone.

Autopia

Chewbaca

Thunder Mountain Railroad

And, as usual, after 2 days of playing from 6a.m. to 12a.m., the kids were exhausted!!!

We had a wonderful time with my family and will not soon forget the memories made this Thanksgiving!
